Who We Are
Georgia Gun Shops is a federally licensed firearms dealer operating from the Atlanta metropolitan area. We ship to FFL holders in all 50 U.S. states. We are not a big-box retailer — we are a small Georgia business that built its reputation on doing the paperwork right and picking up the phone when customers have questions.
FFL License
Federal Firearms License: 1-58-XXX-XX-XX-XXXXX. SOT Class 3 (Special Occupational Taxpayer) for NFA items — we sell suppressors, SBRs, and AOWs legally and handle all Form 4 paperwork. Our license is on file and can be verified through the ATF.
What We Sell
Handguns (concealed carry, competition, duty, collector); rifles (AR platform, bolt-action hunting, AK variants, precision); shotguns (hunting, home defense, sporting); suppressors and NFA items; magazines, optics, ammunition, and accessories. We carry inventory from all major U.S. manufacturers (Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson, Springfield, Ruger, Daniel Defense, BCM, Colt, CZ, Staccato, FN, Beretta, Benelli) and a wide selection of boutique and import brands.
Who Runs the Shop
Jason Whitaker — Founder & FFL Holder
Georgia native. FFL since 2012. Seven years as range safety officer at Autrey’s Armory in Fayetteville before opening his own shop. NRA Certified Pistol Instructor. Member, Georgia Sport Shooting Association. Jason personally handles every NFA transfer and SOT paperwork. If you call the shop and ask a question about a Form 4 or a suppressor tax stamp, you are probably talking to him.
Rebecca Saunders — Compliance & Multi-State Shipping Manager
Eleven years of retail firearms compliance experience, most recently as regional compliance manager at an Atlanta-based sporting goods distributor. Rebecca specializes in the legal matrix for state-restricted shipping: California Roster, New York SAFE Act, Massachusetts approved handgun list, New Jersey magazine and feature restrictions, Washington I-1639, Illinois PICA, and the dozen other state-specific rules that trip up buyers. If an order involves a restricted state, Rebecca reviews it before it ships.
Marcus DeLeon — Product Specialist
USPSA B-class competitive shooter based in Atlanta. Former Sig Sauer factory-trained armorer. Marcus helps customers match the right firearm to the actual use case — whether that’s concealed carry, 3-gun competition, home defense, whitetail hunting, or building a collection. He also writes most of the in-depth product breakdowns on the site.
How We’re Different
We are not the cheapest option online — we are the option that gets the paperwork right. Every firearm is inspected before it leaves our shop. Every order is reviewed for destination-state compliance before we ship. Every NFA transfer is handled personally by an SOT. When you call us, a human answers. When you email us, we reply within one business day. That’s it.

Community and Training
We support local 2A advocacy groups and sponsor youth shotgun programs through 4-H Georgia. We do not offer training courses in-house, but we maintain a referral list of NRA-certified instructors across Georgia — ask us at checkout.
