How Firearm Shipping Works
Every firearm we sell ships from our Atlanta, Georgia FFL to a Federal Firearms License holder of your choice — not directly to your home. Federal law (18 U.S.C. § 922(a)(3)) prohibits shipping a firearm to a non-licensed individual across state lines. The receiving FFL completes the in-person background check (ATF Form 4473) and transfers the firearm to you.
Choosing Your Receiving FFL
At checkout, provide the name, address, phone number, and FFL license number of a dealer near you. Most local gun shops, pawn shops with firearms licenses, and some sporting goods stores hold FFLs. Transfer fees typically range $25-$75 and are paid directly to the receiving FFL when you pick up the firearm. If you do not know an FFL in your area, search the ATF FFL eZ Check database or call us and we will help you find one.
Shipping Carriers and Timing
Handguns ship via UPS Next Day Air (federally required for handguns). Long guns and accessories ship via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. All firearm shipments are insured, signature-required, and fully trackable. Most in-stock firearms ship within 1-3 business days of order acceptance. You receive a tracking number by email when the package leaves our facility.
Shipping Costs
Handgun overnight shipping: $45 flat. Long gun ground shipping: $25 flat. Accessories and ammunition ship at $9.99 flat per order. Free ground shipping on orders over $500 (excludes handguns, which require overnight). Shipping is calculated at checkout.

Order Acceptance and Compliance Check
After you order, our compliance team reviews destination-state rules before we ship. If the product cannot be legally delivered, we cancel the order and refund the full amount within 3 business days. You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.
Receiving the Firearm at Your FFL
The receiving FFL will contact you when the package arrives (usually the day of delivery or the following morning). Bring a valid government-issued photo ID (state driver’s license or ID card, or passport) to the FFL. Complete ATF Form 4473. The FFL runs NICS or state-equivalent background check. Most checks return results in minutes; some states require a waiting period (CA 10 days, IL 72 hours, FL 3 days, etc.). After approval, the FFL transfers the firearm to you.
Ammunition
Ammunition ships direct to your home in most states. Restricted states (California, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Illinois, and a few local jurisdictions) require ammunition to ship through a licensed dealer or retailer with state permit. We handle this automatically when an ammunition-restricted destination is selected.
Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments
All firearm shipments are insured. If the package arrives damaged or is lost in transit, contact us within 48 hours with the tracking number. We file the claim and send a replacement or full refund.
International Shipping
We do not ship outside the United States, its territories, or to APO/FPO addresses at this time.
