Firearms — No Returns After Form 4473 Transfer
Federal law treats a firearm as “used” the moment it is transferred to a buyer via ATF Form 4473. For that reason, firearms that have been transferred to you cannot be returned for refund — the transfer creates a new paper trail and the firearm is no longer legally “new.” This is an industry-wide rule, not a Georgia Gun Shops policy.
Before accepting the firearm at your FFL: inspect it carefully. If you find cosmetic damage, missing parts, or a feature different from what was advertised, do not complete the transfer. Ask the receiving FFL to refuse the package and return it to us. We will issue a full refund (including FFL transfer fees where documented) once the firearm is back in our possession.
Defective Firearms
If a firearm is defective out of the box (mechanical failure, not user error), you have two options: (1) contact the manufacturer directly for warranty service — most manufacturers cover first-year defects under their warranty; or (2) contact us within 15 days of transfer and we will assist with the warranty claim, including shipping the firearm to the manufacturer at our expense if necessary.
Order Cancellation Before Shipment
If you cancel an order before we ship, we refund the full amount within 3 business days. If we cancel due to state restriction, compliance issue, or stock unavailability, same refund timeline applies. No restocking fee applies to cancellations before shipment.
Order Cancellation After Shipment but Before FFL Transfer
If the firearm has left our facility but you have not yet completed the Form 4473, ask the receiving FFL to refuse or return the package. We refund the product cost once the firearm returns to us. A 15% restocking fee may apply to cover return shipping and re-cataloging.
Accessories, Ammunition, Magazines, Optics, Apparel
Non-firearm items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for refund or exchange, provided:
- Items are unused and in original packaging with all tags, manuals, and accessories.
- Ammunition is unopened and in original factory boxes (some states prohibit returned ammunition resale — opened ammunition is not returnable).
- Optics are unmounted and in original packaging.
- Magazines are unloaded and unused.
- Apparel is unworn and unwashed with tags attached.
A 15% restocking fee applies to non-defective returns. Shipping fees are not refunded unless the return is our error.
How to Start a Return
Email [email protected] with your order number, the item(s) you’re returning, and the reason. We respond within one business day with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return shipping instructions. Do not ship returns without an RMA — unauthorized returns may be refused.
Refund Timing
Once we receive the return and confirm condition, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 3-5 business days. Bank processing adds 3-7 additional days before funds appear.
Exchanges
For accessory exchanges (wrong size, incompatible part), ship the item back with an RMA and specify the replacement. We ship the exchange once we receive and inspect the return. Firearm exchanges are handled as return-plus-new-order (two separate transactions).
Fraud and Chargebacks
We vigorously dispute fraudulent chargebacks. Filing a chargeback instead of requesting a return can result in refusal of future orders and referral to collections. Contact us first — almost every issue is resolved faster directly.
