Big-Bore and Lever-Action News: Three Fall 2026 Announcements
Published October 10, 2026. Here are three recent announcements at the big-bore and lever-action end of the market: a .50 caliber Desert Eagle with a threaded barrel, the Springfield Kuna, and a lever-action .410 shotgun from Derya Arms. For each item we say what the source reported and what the source does not yet cover. Prices are quoted only where a source gives one, and we label each figure as MSRP or as reported.
Use the search box in the menu to check our catalog today. The links under each item search the catalog for that model, and the last section explains how a purchase works.
Desert Eagle DE50THR: a threaded .50 caliber pistol
The Desert Eagle DE50THR is a .50 caliber pistol with a threaded barrel. A threaded barrel accepts a muzzle device that screws on to the end of the barrel, such as a muzzle brake or a flash hider. Gun Digest covered the model in October 2026 and gave a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $2,041. Because the source gives an MSRP, we label that number as MSRP and do not present it as a street price.

Springfield Kuna with a quick-release mount
The Springfield Kuna is listed with a quick-release mount. A quick-release mount is built so an optic can be taken off and put back on quickly, without the slow process of a standard mount. The starting price reported for the Kuna is $1,179. The source for that figure does not name the outlet or the date, so read it as a reported starting price and not as a confirmed MSRP.
If you compare the Kuna with other guns that take an optic, look at the mount and the price on the live listing first. A starting price in a news report can differ from the price a dealer shows on the day you look.
Derya Arms EX1500 lever-action .410
Derya Arms has announced the EX1500, a lever-action .410 shotgun. The Gun Bulletin reported the announcement on October 5, 2026. The build is a mono-block steel design, which means the barrel and receiver are made as one piece of steel. We have not found a price for the EX1500, so no price is quoted here. Details beyond the build and the announcement date are also not covered by the source at this time.

Checking the catalog and buying through a dealer
Each item above is a recent announcement, so our catalog may or may not list it yet. Use the search box in the menu, or the links above, to see what is in the catalog today. Guns ship to a local licensed dealer, not to your home. At the dealer's counter you complete the federal Form 4473 and the background check, and the dealer handles the transfer under their own process. Ask the dealer about their transfer fee before you order, because fees differ from one shop to the next.
Keep the source and the date in mind when you read any price here. A figure from a news report is a starting point for your research, not a final quote from the maker or the dealer.
