The Colt Anaconda is a double-action revolver chambered in .44 Remington Magnum with a six-round cylinder and a six-inch barrel. Its solid stainless steel frame and Linear Leaf Spring Action are meant to give a smooth, consistent trigger pull. The barrel has a recessed target crown, and Hogue rubber grips are fitted to absorb recoil. Adjustable, interchangeable sights are included, and the drilled and tapped frame takes an optics mount. The revolver weighs 3.1 pounds.
In Georgia, a handgun of .22 caliber or larger is a legal deer gun when it fires expanding bullets, and the .44 Remington Magnum chambering falls in that caliber range. Dealer handgun buyers must be 21 or older. The stainless frame and adjustable sights suit a range shooter or a hunter who wants a revolver in the field, and the drilled frame allows an optic mount.
