The Springfield Armory Model 2020 Waypoint is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm PRC. It combines a carbon fiber stock and barrel with a stainless steel receiver and a factory Picatinny rail. The 24-inch barrel has a 1:8 twist, an SA radial brake and a Graphite Black Cerakote finish. A TriggerTech trigger adjustable from 2.5 to 5 pounds sits in the action, and the fluted bolt has dual locking lugs. The rifle weighs 7.05 pounds and measures 46 inches overall.
In Georgia, a centerfire rifle is one of the legal deer guns, and the statewide firearms season runs from October 17, 2026 through January 10, 2027. The 7mm PRC chambering and 24-inch threaded barrel suit a hunter who wants a flat-shooting rifle for longer shots. The light carbon fiber build and optic-ready rail make the rifle easier to carry through hills and timber.
