The Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag Waterfowl is a pump-action 12 gauge with an overbored 28-inch vent-rib barrel. It chambers 2 3/4-inch, 3-inch and 3 1/2-inch shells and has a tubular magazine that holds 4+1 rounds. The aluminum receiver and synthetic stock wear a Mossy Oak Shadow Grass Blades finish. A fiber optic front bead handles aiming, and Full, Modified and Improved Cylinder choke tubes are included. The shotgun weighs 7.75 pounds and measures 48.75 inches overall.

In Georgia, a 12 gauge shotgun loaded with slugs or buckshot is one of the legal deer guns, and the statewide firearms season runs from October 17, 2026 through January 10, 2027. The camouflage finish and choke tube set suit a hunter who wants one pump gun for shot loads of several sizes. The tang-mounted safety works with either hand, and the 14.25-inch length of pull fits most shooters.
