The Savage Arms 64 FXP is a semi-automatic .22 LR rimfire rifle with a 20.25-inch blue barrel and a fixed black synthetic stock. It feeds from a detachable 10-round magazine for 10+1 capacity. This package includes a factory riflescope, and the single-stage trigger and manual thumb safety are part of the rifle. The rifle is built for plinking, practice and introductory marksmanship.

Georgia's listed deer guns are centerfire rifles, handguns of .22 caliber or larger with expanding bullets, shotguns and muzzleloaders, so a .22 LR rimfire is not on that list. This package suits target practice, plinking and introductory marksmanship, with the included riflescope giving a ready-to-shoot setup for range sessions. The synthetic stock is low maintenance, and the rifle is a plain, practical setup for shooters who want a scoped rimfire.
